We went to Jameson Park for the afternoon to cool off. It was a fun afternoon and these were my favorite pictures. Something about their original bright and sunny colors just didn't flow with me, so muted colors it is. I think it works better.
I do not know this woman. Doubt I ever will. She walked in front of me on her way out and my mind said "picture now". So I did, she never saw me take it...took less then a second then I had moved on.
Every where I looked little hands where grabbing, pushing and pulling. In the chaos of a million fingers, I looked down and saw a lone little hand resting in the water. Another brief second, and I was gone on to something else.
There is a certain grace and peace to be found in hectic life. This one picture found it for me. Something unseen and unsaid, just looking at the world from down there. Frozen and waiting. I lingered on this one for awhile, wanting to make sure I got what I was seeing. I lingered too long and was rewarded with wetness
